Crew members survive incidents amid conflicting reports over cause of downings.

US Warplanes Crash in Kuwait as Gulf Tensions Escalate

Several US military aircraft crashed in Kuwait on Monday morning, with all crew members surviving, according to a statement from Kuwait’s Defence Ministry.

A ministry spokesperson confirmed that search and rescue teams were immediately deployed, evacuating the crews and transporting them to hospital for medical evaluation. Officials described their condition as stable and said an investigation into the cause of the crashes is underway.

The incidents occurred as Iran continued a third consecutive day of strikes across the Gulf region, intensifying an already volatile security environment.

Iranian state media claimed that a US F-15 jet in Kuwait had been brought down by Iranian air defence fire. However, Kuwaiti and US authorities have not publicly confirmed this assertion.

Videos widely circulated on social media appear to show what looks like a US F-15 warplane descending before impact, as well as images of a pilot parachuting to safety and being transported in a civilian vehicle. Other unverified reports suggested the possibility of “friendly fire.”

Officials have not yet provided definitive details, and the precise circumstances surrounding the crashes remain unclear as investigations continue.
