Among the finalists, the Maarif Schools of Madagascar have secured a place, marking a significant achievement. The team will represent their country on a continental stage, showcasing their creativity and problem-solving skills.

The selected project, led by student Randrianirina Volan’Iaina, focuses on improving the lives of people with disabilities. Competing in the “Disability” category, the initiative has been praised for its practical impact and innovative approach, according to supervising teacher Razakanaivo Rija Herizo.

During the finals, participants will present their work before an international jury, addressing themes such as sustainability, environmental protection, and technological advancement. Beyond competition, the event aims to foster collaboration among young Africans and encourage the exchange of ideas across borders.

According to organizers, Science Fest Africa seeks to inspire greater interest in scientific fields while nurturing innovation and strengthening international cooperation between educational institutions.
