Niamey Meeting Highlights Ambitious Turco-African Media Projects
Efforts to strengthen media cooperation between Africa and Türkiye were highlighted during talks in Niamey between Ibrahim Manzo Diallo and Mehmet Kaya. The meeting, recommended by Özgür Çınar, focused on launching a Turco-African Media Cooperation Forum in 2026 and establishing a regional cooperation council that could be based in Niger. Investment projects such as KAYI TV and KAYI RADIO were also presented as part of a broader effort to expand media infrastructure and broadcasting capacity.
