Iranian commander Hatami says citizens can receive $30,000 for capturing or killing US soldiers who attacked Iran.

Iran offers $30,000 bounty for capturing or killing US soldiers

Iran’s top military commander has announced a $30,000 cash reward for any citizen who captures or kills an American soldier attacking Iranian territory.

Major General Habibullah Hatami made the offer during a Journalists’ Day event, according to state-aligned Mehr News Agency.

“If an Iranian citizen captures or kills a US soldier who attacks our soil, they will receive a $30,000 reward,” Hatemi said.

He said the bounty would be funded through private contributions.

Hatami also said female citizens who capture or kill an invading US soldier would receive twice the standard reward.

The announcement comes amid heightened tensions between Tehran and Washington and growing military friction across the Middle East.

The US Department of Defense has not yet publicly responded to Hatemi’s remarks.
