Mauaji hayo yanahusishwa na imani potofu ya kufunga hadi kufa inayohusishwa na mhubiri Paul Mackenzie wa kanisa la Good News International.
Dkt. Richard Njoroge, daktari wa serikali anayesimamia uchunguzi huo, amesema zoezi la ufukuaji limeanza wiki iliyopita na hadi sasa jumla ya miili 32 imepatikana.
Tukio hili linafufua maumivu ya vifo vya Shakahola mwaka 2023, ambapo watu zaidi ya 400 walifariki kwa njaa wakifuata mafundisho ya “mwisho wa dunia.”
