Türkiye’s main hub leads the continent with the highest daily flights
According to the latest report by EUROCONTROL, Istanbul Airport was the busiest airport in Europe between April 6–12.
During this period, Istanbul Airport handled an average of 1,472 flights per day, placing it firmly at the top of the list. This highlights its growing importance as a major global travel hub connecting Europe, Asia, and beyond.
It was followed by other major European airports, including:
