Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei vows revenge after deadly school attack and urges Gulf states to shut US bases.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has vowed strong retaliation following a deadly attack on the Shajareh Tayyebeh school in Minab, which reportedly killed more than 165 people, including many children, during the early phase of the conflict.
In a televised address, Khamenei declared that Iran would not refrain from avenging the victims, emphasizing that every citizen killed would be treated as a separate case in the country’s response against its enemies.
He also stated that only a limited part of Iran’s retaliation has been carried out so far, suggesting that further military responses could follow as the conflict unfolds.
The Iranian leader additionally warned Gulf countries hosting US military bases, urging them to shut down the facilities. According to him, the protection promised by the United States “is nothing but a lie.”
