Turkish National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler accompanied President of the Republic of Niger, General Abdourahamane Tchiani, during official engagements in the Turkish capital.
Minister Güler welcomed President Tchiani upon his arrival at Ankara’s Esenboğa Airport and later joined the Nigerien leader during a visit to Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
The visit forms part of President Tchiani’s official program in Türkiye, which includes high-level meetings aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in strategic sectors.
Officials from both countries have emphasized the importance of deepening ties in areas such as security, defense, economic development, and regional cooperation.
The visit highlights the growing diplomatic engagement between Türkiye and Niger as both nations seek to enhance their partnership on multiple fronts.
