The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) said on Tuesday that five of its volunteers were killed in Sudan.
The five volunteers were killed in the city of Bara while distributing food and wearing official vests, it said, without giving details on how they were killed or assigning responsibility.
It said three other volunteers are missing.
The Sudanese conflict, which pits the regular army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), broke out in mid-April 2023.
Thousands have been killed, and even a higher number displaced, according to official figures.
