TRNC Congratulates Anadolu on 106 Years

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has congratulated Anadolu Agency on its 106th anniversary. Prime Minister Ünal Üstel said Anadolu has long been a voice for the Turkish Cypriot people and is respected for its commitment to truth and objectivity.

Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu also commended Anadolu for highlighting the “just cause” of Turkish Cypriots internationally. He noted the agency’s founding in 1920 under Mustafa Kemal Atatürk during the War of Independence, calling it a vital institution that continues to serve both Türkiye and the TRNC.
