Israel attacks vessels of Gaza-bound Freedom Flotilla Coalition

Israel has attacked aid vessels of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition bound for Gaza 120 nautical miles away from the blockaded enclave, organisers said.

"At roughly 120nms away from Gaza, Israel has attacked our flotilla. Currently, at least two boats have been boarded, and most livestreams have been disconnected," organisers said in an Instagram post.

"The military is trying to divert their route," the post added.

A livestream on the coalition's YouTube channel showed several Israeli soldiers raiding the Gaza Sunbird.

Israel’s Channel 13 said earlier that the Israeli army was preparing to attack the flotilla.
