Dozens rescued and schools closed as sudden storms disrupt daily life

Flash Floods Hit Southern China After Heavy Rain

Heavy rainfall in southern China caused flash floods in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, forcing emergency evacuations and disrupting daily activities.

The flooding was especially severe in Qinzhou, where rising المياه trapped residents and made roads difficult to access. Emergency teams quickly stepped in, deploying firefighters and rescue vehicles to the affected areas.

Around 30 people who were stranded were safely evacuated before noon, thanks to a rapid response involving more than 150 firefighters. Authorities also suspended classes in several schools due to the dangerous weather conditions.

Officials continue to monitor the situation as sudden storms like this can cause rapid flooding, especially in vulnerable areas. The focus remains on keeping residents safe and preventing further damage.
